Favorite Curves in the Back Road.
The way a river flows through downtown, or how a hill lifts a certain neighborhood, these are the interesting, personality giving aspects of cities. Like a special field to someone, or a mountain, panopticon, or a stretch of coast, that’s what’s amazing to us. Eating out in Manhattan is like surfing in Hawaii, or river rafting the Grand Canyon. You eat in Houston, surf Maine, and float down the Missouri, but it’s not going to be the same. I’m not sure if this is personally or culturally defined.
Maybe a bit of both. Otherwise, why would we still live in Minneapolis.
